Global Cultural History of Food

This module provides an historical overview of the cultural history of food from antiquity to the present. Largely eurocentric, this western perspective is modified and clarified by an exploration of practices, perceptions and historical events relating to food in non-western cultures that have crucially impacted European and North American foodways.
