A survey of current practices in the EIA, AA and SEA processes as well as their assessment. The aim of this module is to ensure that students have a good working knowledge of current EIA, SEA and AA practices and how these relate to environmental management.

• EIA current practice
• SEA current practice
• AA current practice
• Impact Assessment management
• Impact assessment topics
• Case studies.
A variety of teaching methods will be used including lectures, group discussion and analysis of case studies to
encourage participant analytical thinking.
