Documents Required

***All Documentation should be copies of the originals. ***

***Documents with information about Parents, Guardians, Spouses, Civil Partners, Co-Habitants and Dependents will be shredded on submission without the Student Assistance Fund Supporting Information Consent Form sign by each of the above relevant participants. ***

Please find which combinations of the sections below that apply to you and provide the appropriate supporting documentation:

 

  • Section 1 applies to every applicant.
  • Sections 2 and 3 will apply to applicants who were under 23 on the 1st of January when they commenced their course.
  • Sections 4 and 5 will apply to applicants who were over 23 on the 1st of January when they commenced their course.
  • Sections 6 and 7 will only be relevant to applicants who are/have been Homeless/Care of State applicants.

Section 1 - Every S.A.F Applicant:

  • - Complete the online application

  • - Provide your own Bank Statement relevant to 3 months directly prior to application, with your name and address printed on it.

  • - If you are a lone parent, you must provide evidence of this status by providing one of the following: parent payment receipt, Single parent’s credits/ Sworn Affidavit

  • - If you have received SUSI confirmation of being in receipt of SUSI funding, please provide all three pages of your SUSI award letter.

  • - A competed and ticked TU Dublin - Tallaght Campus Student Assistance Fund Documentation Check List (This form)

 

Section 2 - Non Mature Students (who were under 23 on the 1st of January when they commenced their course):

  • - Evidence of your income. Sample documents accepted include: 2017 P21, 2017 Social Welfare Statement and/or 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form

  • - Evidence of each of your Parents/Guardians income. Sample documents accepted include: 2017 P21, Social Welfare Statement, 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form and/or 2017 Pension Statement

  • - Student Assistance Fund Supporting Information Consent Form, with a signature of each Parent/Guardians named in supporting documentation (Found on our Website in documents required)

Section 3 - Non Mature Students (Under 23 on the 1st of January when they commenced their course) with One Parent/Guardian Household:

  • - Evidence of your income. Sample documents accepted include: 2017 P21, 2017 Social Welfare Statement and/or 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form

  • - Evidence of each of your Parents/Guardians income. Sample documents accepted include: 2017 P21, 2017 Social Welfare Statement, 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form and/or 2017 Pension statement

  • - Evidence of one parent/guardian household. Includes One parent payment receipt, Single parent’s credits, Divorce/Separation agreement/ Sworn Affidavit

  • Student Assistance Fund Supporting Information Consent Form, with a signature of each Parent/Guardians named in supporting documentation (Found on our Website in documents required)

Section 4 - Mature Student (Over 23 on the 1st of January when they commenced their course:

  • - Evidence of your income. Sample documents accepted include: 2017 P21, 2017 Social Welfare Statement and/or 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form

Section 5 - Mature Student (Over 23 on the 1st of January when they commenced their course) with Spouse/Civil Partner/ Co-Habitant:

  • - Evidence of your income. Sample documents accepted include: 2017 P21, 2017 Social Welfare Statement and/or 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form

  • - Evidence of each of your Spouse/Civil Partner/ Co-Habitant income. Sample documents accepted include:  2017 P21, Social Welfare Statement, 2017 Self-Tax Assessment form and/or 2017 Pension Statement

  • - Student Assistance Fund Supporting Information Consent Form, with a signature of your Spouse/Civil Partner/ Co-Habitant named in supporting documentation (Found on our Website in documents required)

 

Section 6 - Homeless/Housing Exclusion Student:

  • - Letter from the local authority where you were assessed and registered as homeless

Section 7 - TUSLA/Care of State Student:

  • - A letter from your social worker/TUSLA confirming your status
