The aim of the TU Dublin Research and Innovation Awards, now in their 3rd year, is to recognise and reward the positive contributions of the research & innovation community in the pursuit of their goals in pushing the boundaries of knowledge for the greater good of society. The awards The awards supported by the Vice President for Research and Innovation, celebrate the commitment and excellence of staff from all disciplines across the university. All those nominated will be recognised and celebrated, and the winners announced at the awards ceremony due to take place on Monday Nov. 3rd, 2025.
This year, we are accepting nominations for 9 award categories, and there will be one award prize per category. Click on the relevant boxes below to obtain more information about each award and to find out how to submit nominations.
We are pleased to announce the first TU Dublin Research Impact Case Study Competition, with 5 prizes, one per TU Dublin research priority area. We invite all TU Dublin researchers to showcase the real-world impact of their research. Click the relevant box below to submit a nomination.
TU Dublin R&I Awards 2025 - Guidelines
We invite and encourage as many nominations as possible for the awards. Nominating a colleague for an award is a meaningful way to recognise and celebrate their contributions to the field. Submitting a case study for the competition is a great way to showcase the real-world impact of your university research. It brings visibility to your contributions and can open doors to new collaborations, funding opportunities, and academic recognition—while also serving as a valuable addition to your portfolio and a reflection of your commitment to impactful research.
