Remote Activation of Student User Accounts

This guide will enable you to remotely activate your student user account and access IT Services.

(1) Login to the Student Remote Access Service with your network login and password

Business & Humanities Students: Stu\studentnumber 

Engineering Students: Eng\studentnumber

Science & Computing Students: Computing\studentnumber

Select Sign-in

(2) You will be prompted that your password has expired.

Select here to change your password

All passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters in length, and contain from at least three of the following four character classes:

Upper case alphabetic (e.g. A-Z)
Lower case alphabetic (e.g. a-z)
Numeric (e.g. 0-9)
Special characters (e.g. .,!@#$%~


(3) Enter your current and new password and click submit to change your password.

You will now be able to use your TU Dublin account to access IT Services.


(4) It is recommended that all students register for the TU Dublin Self Service Password Reset Service to ensure you can manage your own password - https://tudublin.ie/password/

Use your TU Dublin email address and network password to register for this service - studentnumber@mytudublin.ie


Note: You must allow 15 minutes for your password to sync to your @mytudublin.ie Office365 account.
