Maths needed for admission to BSc IT Management

As the BSc IT Management programme has some Maths elements we ask for evidence of Maths background for people taking the BSc IT Management. This can be supplied in a number of ways:

  • Evidence of Leaving Certificate ordinary level Mathematics C3 grade or better (Foundation A2 or better will work too).
  • Evidence of passing a Maths module in a QQI/FETAC Level 5 award (or higher)
  • Evidence of a full QQI/FETAC Level 5 award related to IT Management
  • An international equivalent of any of the above

If you do not have formal evidence of Maths background our advice is for you to undertake the Institute’s Head Start Mathemathics course and examination. We can then consider your Head Start Mathematics examination result when considering your application. The Head Start Mathematics Course is typically offered during May and August each year.  For more information click here
