Master of Arts at IT TallaghtProgramme Philosophy
This programme is deeply committed to moving beyond the more usual mosaic approach, which tends to maintain soft boundaries around disciplinary areas. Our aim is to offer a more fully collaborative, blended research experience, integrating the language and tools of electronics with those of media arts. The challenges and complexities of the contemporary world call for the ability to straddle multiple disciplines in order to build new knowledge and generate critical insights into our changing technologized environments. This programme offers an antidisciplinary space for synthesising the knowledge, skills and educational philosophies from traditionally disparate areas in order to facilitate innovation in both practice and thinking.
