Non EU Students
The International Office at IT Tallaght offers a warm welcome to our International partners from Nanjing, Shanghai and Hong Kong in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, United States of America and Europe.

Currently IT Tallaght does not accept direct applications for 1st year entry into its undergraduate programmes.

International students who wish to apply for 1st year on our undergraduate programmes should apply directly through The Central Applications Office www.cao.ie

It is a student’s responsibility to ensure that s/he obtains and maintains a valid passport and student visa to enter Ireland for study purposes.

Some international students do not require a visa to study in Ireland. A list of countries whose citizens do not require visas to enter Ireland can be found at www.inis.gov.ie . Citizens from countries not appearing on this list will be required to obtain a student visa to study in Ireland.

Full Degree undergraduate and postgraduate students must be enrolled on a full-time course of study in order to obtain a study visa and comply with Irish immigration regulations. Information regarding visa applications can be obtained on the website of the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Services at www.inis.gov.ie

Immigration Registration
All students from outside the EU/EEA (European Economic Area) must register in person with the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB). It is advisable to visit http://www.garda.ie/controller.aspx?page=31 for up-to-date information.

English Language Requirement
All students applying to IT Tallaght from our International partners whose first language is not English, must provide supporting documentary evidence of their competence in English.
