Success for 3rd year Engineering Student

TU Dublin Students Attending Sustainability Summer School in Lucerne

Congratulations to Year 3 Engineering student, Oisín Burke, on his selection for the Polytechnic Alliance Sustainability Summer School.

From over 50 applicants, Oisín was one of five students from across TU Dublin selected for this transformative learning opportunity, which takes place at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in July. The summer school will cover various strands of sustainability science, with a focus on introducing many of the concepts in TU Dublin’s MSc in Transport and Mobility.

The Polytechnic Alliance is a collaboration between TU Dublin, Hochschule Darmstadt, Hochschule Luzern, Coventry University, Purdue and UW Stout. The summer school is funded by Campus Engage, the HEA sponsored Transformative Student-Centred Learning Record (Transform-Edu) and the TU Dublin Sustainability Office.
