1916 Bursary Award Ceremony

On Monday 10th December 2018, IT Tallaght hosted an awards ceremony to a number of its students who were awarded a bursary worth 5,000 euro annually to assist them with the cost of going to college.  The awards presented in St. Maelruain’s Church, Tallaght were a wonderful occasion for the recipients and their families.  The opening address was given by Mr. Thomas Stone, President IT Tallaght, followed by an address from Mr. Neil McDermott from the Higher Education Authority who fund the bursaries.

IT Tallaght will be announcing the next opportunity to apply for similar bursaries early in 2019.  Applicants to the first year of our fulltime and part-time courses will be able to apply.    Our community partners will be invited to nominate up to 3 applicants they work with who are making an application to study either fulltime or part-time at IT Tallaght from September 2019.  Please check our website in early 2019 for application forms and further details.
