The Department of Marketing and Business Computing is a leading provider of courses in Marketing Management, Advertising and Marketing Communications, and Digital Marketing, offering courses at Higher Certificate, Ordinary Degree and Honours Degree level. It also offers a Higher Diploma in Business in Marketing, as well as a BSc in Data Analytics with Digital Marketing, and research Masters.


BRAND NEW for this year, the Department will offer a new Level 7 Bachelor of Arts (Ordinary Degree) in Digital Marketing, as well as shorter Special Purpose and Minor Awards which is particularly relevant to the needs of Ireland’s fast-expanding technology sector, where ICT employers are growing their business operations.


Employers, employees and self-employed individuals will benefit from the key skills in the short courses on offer, which can all be extended into a full degree:

  • Certificate in Digital Marketing (special purpose award, 30 credits)
  • Certificate in Social Media Marketing (special purpose award, 30 credits)
  • Certificate in Applied Digital Marketing (minor award, 60 credits)

In April 2017, Glenn Mehta took on a new role as Head of Department of Marketing and Business Computing. A graduate of marketing at ITT himself, Glenn has written text books and is an active researcher and digital marketing consultant with unrivalled links to industry, community and non-profit organisations around Dublin, Ireland and the world, and is leading a digital transformation agenda.
