About the Course

Students who complete this programme and achieve this award are prepared for gaining positions of responsibility in marketing. The modules introduce students to the study of consumer behaviour, marketing research, marketing communications, financial management, international marketing and e-business. Student’s communication and teamwork skills are also fostered and real issues from the world of marketing are addressed and studied. Students are well prepared for a role on a marketing team.

Marketing degree courses at IT Tallaght

Students may elect to choose PC Business Applications and Advanced Business Computing to develop computing skills in this area. Those who stay on and apply for the Honours Bachelor Degree programme will study marketing issues in greater depth and detail. The European language option – French, German or Spanish  may also be chosen on the programme

Leaving Certificate Entry Requirements
At least grade H5 or better in two higher level papers and grade O6 or better in four ordinary level papers in the Leaving Certificate including English or Irish and Maths.  Pass in Foundation Level Mathematics (F2) is acceptable for this course.
