Computing Camps

TU Dublin - Tallaght Campus are running computing camps for secondary schools. The camps are open to all year groups, from 1st year up to leaving certificate, and even coding clubs. The camps goal is to raise awareness for computing across all age groups and gender. The camps are tailored for each school and group. The camp can be run in IT-Tallaght or we can visit your school, we have all the equipment required to the run camps, so they can be delivered in a regular classroom, we do not even need WiFi! The camps also align with the Junior Cycle short course in coding, and the up coming Leaving Certificate Computer Science course. We also have camps aimed at TY students. Some of the topics that we can deliver are: BBC micro:bit, Scratch, Python, HTML, XBox Kinect with Scratch, C# Piano App, Unity 3D games development and many more that could link with your students and the topics that they are covering.
