How do I make an Advanced Entry Application?

Advanced Entry
Advanced Entry is where an applicant has previous work experience and/or educational achievements that are considered directly relevant to the programme they wish to apply for. In such a case, it is possible to gain entry to the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate programme in TU Dublin-Tallaght Campus.

What happens after I have completed the application process?
You will receive an email acknowloedging your application. You may be asked to submit more information/copies of your results/ qualification to support your application. This supporting  documentation must be posted to the CAO. If you are offered a place, you must accept you offer within 10 days.

What is the closing date for applications?
Applications for Advanced entry will close 30th June. If all places are not filled, the closing date will be extended.

When are offers made?
Offers for Advanced Entry are made on an on-going basis between June, July and August  provided the applicant has submitted all the required documentation to assess your application.

How long do I have to accept my offer?                                                                                                               
You have 10 days to accept your offer from the date you receive your offer by email.

What happens after I accept my offer?
On receipt of your acceptance, TU Dublin-Tallaght Campus will issue registration documentation. This will contain a registration form and important fee information.

When do I become officially registered?
On receipt of a signed registration form with payment of fees/proof that you have applied for a grant via SUSI, the staff in the Registrar’s Office will officially register you for the academic year when the minimum fee owing is paid/prrof that you have applied for a grant.  If you are in receipt of a grant, you will be fully registered when we receive official notification from the Awarding Body confirming this.

I have never studied in TU Dublin-Tallaght Campus before so how do I get my student card?
You can avail of a student card as part of your registration. Student cards are issued to stduents during the first week in September. Details will be available on our website nearer September.
