Access Office

Through a range of pre-entry activities, alternative entry arrangements, and post-entry supports, the Access Office strives to ensure that TU Dublin - Tallaght Campus facilitates equity of access and progression.

The role of the Access Office can be broken down into two areas:

1. Pre-entry: to promote and encourage entry into the University by students from groups currently under-represented in higher education through our Access Schools Links Programme.

2. Supports for current full-time registered students who are in one of the following groups:

  • Access Students from linked schools (linked schools) ACE/CAN/BACE.
  • Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) Students.
  • Mature students (who were 23 years old or over upon entering the University and are attending a full-time programme).
  • QQI/FET/FETAC applicants.
  • Members of the Traveller Community.

The Access Office provides advice and guidance in relation to Financial supports, Academic supports and Social/Personal supports. If you are a student who entered the University through one of the above Access admission routes and wish to meet with us, please book an appointment by clicking on the icon below.
