An important and exciting element of the BA in European Studies programme is the fact that students spend the third year of the programme abroad at either a third level college within the framework of the Socrates/Erasmus programme or on an internship in an appropriate socio-economic or political setting.
The country in which students spend their third year is decided by their choice of language specialisation in Year 2. Having studied two languages in Year 1, students specialise in one language in Year 2. We have partner colleges in France, Germany and Spain. Students spend two semesters at the foreign college and return to ITT Dublin for their fourth and final year.
