Synergy Centre
Synergy Centre is a modern, purpose-built facility at ITT Dublin that works with entrepreneurs to build and grow indigenous, knowledge-based businesses. The Centre forms an integral part of ITT Dublin’s workforce development strategy, concentrating on the entrepreneur and the development of the early-stage business.
The building itself houses offices of varying sizes, innovation laboratory space, shared desk facilities, coffee shop, training room, boardroom and administration offices. There are over 30 companies based in Synergy Centre currently.
The Centre runs a number of enterprise development programmes which together form the ‘Synergy System’ - a three-stage process for developing high-technology or knowledge-intensive companies.
This system works with the entrepreneur who has a business idea, bringing them from initial business idea right through to a trading, growth-oriented enterprise. Programmes and supports are tailored at every stage of the system to the needs of the enterprise and its workforce at that point in time. Particular emphasis is placed on the skills and actions required of the directors and senior management of the growing company.
