You may be asked to attend for interview.
You have qualifications from a country other than Ireland
If you would like to apply to IT Tallaght, there are a number of ways to check if your qualifications meet the requirements for entry.
Get your qualification recognised through the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI). To have your award evaluated, you must complete an application form and submit documentation relating to the award. Full details of the process and the application form are available on the NQAI website:
Alternatively you can contact NQAI at the following address:

Have your qualification checked by IT Tallaght. IT Tallaght belongs to the Institutes of Technology Central Evaluation Forum (IOTCEF). This group produces a publication, which is reviewed regularly ‘A World of Access’, detailing many of the qualifications from around the world and matching them to the entry requirement for programmes. IT Tallaght will try and match your qualification with the qualifications required for entry to the programme you have chosen.
To help us, you will need to:
Attach the original transcript of your qualification when you apply for the programme you want to complete. (The qualification or transcript should state the standard obtained, the subject area and the level of the award)
Attach a certified English translation of the qualification – if the original is not in English.
If you would like to check your qualifications yourself, A World of Access is available on the Central Applications Office website http://www.cao.ie
If your qualification is not covered by this booklet then IT Tallaght will check your qualification on a recognised international database called NARIC (National Academic Recognition database) and then let you know if you have met the requirements for entry to the programme you have chosen.
