IT Tallaght will issue a registration pack to those who have accepted places on our programmes. The registration documentation must be completed and brought in person to IT Tallaght on the date indicated on the invitation to register. Where an applicant fails to register on the appointed date his/her place may become forfeit and the Institute may offer the place to the next student on the waiting list.

It is the responsibility of every person attending a programme or module in IT Tallaght or wishing to take a repeat examination or a qualifier examination to register for that purpose with the Institute. Final dates for registration will be published on the Institute’s website and on the notice boards throughout the Institute. Registration after these dates will not normally be considered. Consideration of late registrations will be at the sole discretion of the President or his nominee. Transfer between programmes is not normally permitted. In particular circumstances a transfer request may be considered where there is a sufficiently common curriculum between the programmes involved.

Prospective students should note that programmes commence in the second week in September and that if a student does not present at the appointed day and time for registration, without prior written approval from the Institute, then a late registration fee will  apply.

The Institute is committed to supporting students with special needs to progress through their studies.

Depending on the time of year, more up-to-date Registration Information may be available on this page.
