They say that a Research Centre is only as strong as its postgraduate cohort. Since its inception, the National Centre for Franco-Irish Studies has been fortunate to attract dynamic and productive postgraduates whose output in terms of conference papers and journal articles has been most impressive. The online publication, JOFIS, provides further proof, if such were needed, that the future for Franco-Irish Studies is in safe hands, because it will be driven by people who have the skills and the energy needed to sustain the project into the future.
In 2013, JOFIS 3, entited "The Winds of Change in France and Ireland" was hosted for the first time by the Arrow digital repository in DIT. It is available at: http://arrow.dit.ie/jofis/
The first issue, "Encounters/La rencontre", edited by Jean-Christophe Penet, and the second issue, "France and Ireland: Cultures en Crise", edited by Lauren Clark, will also be available at the same location.
