DNA tells tales Conference Jan 23rd

IT-TaIIaght is hosting a one-day national conference on DNA technologies entitled ‘DNA tells tales’ which will bring together leaders in the field, spanning the food, equine and agriculture industries, forensic science and medical diagnostics. The conference, on January 23rd will showcase the growing impact of DNA technology across each of these sectors covering topics as diverse as animal fertility, diagnosis of genetic conditions, infection control, food traceability, and identifying the perpetrators of crime. This event offers a unique opportunity for those interested in establishing or further developing DNA-based analysis, to hear from those at the forefront of this field. The conference also provides an invaluable forum  to strengthen collaborative links between industry and IT-TaIIaght to ensure that the undergraduate  and postgraduate programs of the Institute are meeting the needs of industry in this developing field of science.
