The main roles include:

• Assistance with admission procedures, accessibility, examinations and teaching and learning processes. These will include organising the provision of note takers, extra tuition, interpreters, scribes, Academic Assistants, extra time and consideration for examinations and assistive technology devices.
• Liaising with Institute Departments, individual lectures and other staff to ensure that the support needs of students with disabilities are met.
• Creating awareness among students and staff of the availability of the Disability Officer and the support facilities within ITT Dublin. 

We also provide a health questionnaire which a student indicates any disability they have. Call by my office and say Hello!
