Volunteering+ @ IT Tallaght

An Innovative approach to supporting the community and the students at IT Tallaght will be launched tomorrow to celebrate IT Tallaght’s 10 year commitment to the Volunteering Fair in October 2018 ( launch in the Main Reception at 10am – Please join us!).

We really need your support to help us make our target of completing 10,000 volunteering hours by September 2018.

All the volunteering hours (see the list of  activities that constitute volunteering below) you may have completed from September 2017 can help us reach our target.  Time-bank your hours now in 3 easy steps.

1                    Show your commitment by visiting our Volunteering+ registration table in the foyer and time-bank the hours you have completed to date.

2                    Time-bank the hours you complete online from now until September 2018 using the volunteering+  unique ID you will be allocated after you register.

3                    Claim your digital badge that awards you for your commitment to volunteering.

Each time banked hour will gain Edu-Units to support students at IT Tallaght in the coming academic year. The kinds of supports that will be generated from the Edu-Units include, Travel Leap cards, Digital Tablets, and a range vouchers towards stationery, protective clothing, doctor’s visits and gym membership.  In all 115 students will benefit from the initiative.
