Accountancy & Professional Studies at IT Tallaght

Accounting and Finance functions are critical for the success of every business and organisation operating today. Pursuing Accounting and Finance at ITT Dublin will give you a solid grounding in the principles and practices of the accounting and finance - from auditing, taxation and financial accounting to management accounting, law and financial risk management.

You will develop the skills and knowledge to make a positive difference in business and society and you will work in challenging and rewarding roles.

  • ITT Dublin has the Maximum exemptions from Accountancy Bodies Exemptions Link to school review table.This means that you can become a Professionally Qualified Accountant within a relatively short period on completion of our degree.

  • Flexibility to postpone studies or continue part time if your circumstances change.

  • On completion of Level 8 degree, you have the opportunity to progress to a Level 9 Masters.

  • Advanced entry for students who have completed Accounting Technician Ireland Diploma

Entry Requirements

Leaving Certificate with a minimum of Grade C3 in two Higher Level subjects, and a minimum of Grade D3 (Ordinary Level) in 4 other subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination,which must include Mathematics and English or Irish.

Mature applicants (23 years of age) may not be required to meet the minimum entry requirements but may be considered on their merits
