About the Course
The study of Management focuses on how organisations operate, what they do, their styles of management and their business strategies.
During the Higher Certificate programme at ITT Dublin we introduce students to Business Management. This will include all the office systems that help management to run a business smoothly and efficiently – information systems, financial accounting, economics and the internal operations of a company. Those who enrol on this programme also have an option to take a European language.
The Two Year Higher Certificate in Business in Business Administration offers:
A structured programme of study that offers you a broad introduction to management and the key areas involved in running a business
As well as the core management modules covered, Higher Certificate students have the opportunity to study a European Language which is hugely beneficial for job opportunities.
Smaller class sizes coupled with a vibrant team of approachable and engaging lecturers that possess expert and practical industry experience, provides a more personal and engaging classroom dynamic between students and lecturers
The industry-focused assessment projects, industry guest lectures, off site company visits and Alumni events provide the perfect opportunity for our Management students to apply and hone the skills and knowledge gained in classroom
The development of personal skills such as teamwork, time management, and presentation skills ensure the course offers much more than its core content, and are vital skills for every future business graduate.
A Peer Mentor programme specifically designed for Management Students in first year assigns year 1 students to a second year student to help transition from secondary education to third level.
