Conference Theme
‘Mathematical Eyes: A Bridge between Adults, the World and Mathematics’
The organisers particularly welcome contributions from members and non-members. Participants are encouraged to use mathematical eyes to highlight current issues, opportunities and challenges for adults learning mathematics in:
• the work environment
• all levels of education
• improving public awareness and communication
• supporting active citizenship.

In addition ALM’s collaboration with the National Adult Literacy Agency gives participants and contributors a special opportunity to explore the important and enduring relationship between literacy and numeracy and what it means for adult mathematics education.
