Synergy Centre
Based on campus at ITT Dublin, Synergy Centre is the innovation centre of South Dublin County, providing office space and business supports to early-stage enterprises. Its focus is on the high technology and knowledge intensive sectors. Synergy’s aim is to enable industry and academia to interact to create viable enterprises for South Dublin County that will secure the area’s future in terms of job creation, innovation and export potential.

Synergy Centre caters for all shapes and sizes of early-stage business, providing:

  • office space for technology driven ventures with high potential; 
  • concept desks for entrepreneurs with an early stage idea; and 
  • networking opportunities in an enterpreneurial community
  • Laboratory space for science/engineering technology companies to support R&D and/or prototype development 
  • It is a modern, purpose built incubation centre. with over 1,000 sq m of accommodation.

Synergy Global 
ITT Dublin invested in a further Enterprise Incubation facility of 1,000 sq m at nearby Citywest in May 2011. Already a number of knowledge based projects have graduated from Synergy Centre to locate in Synergy Global. This commitment by ITT Dublin to entrepreneurship provides an attractive location for projects emerging from the Synergy Centre and also provides a well serviced facility in a prime location ideal for the needs of “Mobile Inward” start-up projects.

New frontiers entrepreneur development programme (EDP)

New Frontiers is Ireland’s national entrepreneur development programme, funded by Enterprise Ireland. In South County Dublin it is delivered by the Synergy Centre at ITTDublin, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The programme is a collaboration between ITT Dublin and IT Blanchardstown to support entrepreneurs in Dublin and neighboring counties.

 

 

 

We actively recruit all year round for all programmes running two cycles per year:

  • Phase One programmes generally run in January & June.
  • Phase Two programmes generally run in May & September.
