In the Department of Electronic Engineering, we offer a range of part-time courses from entry-level Certificate courses right up to a Bachelor of Engineering Hons Degree. The profile of our students varies considerably. Students tend to come from a variety of backgrounds; they could be car mechanics who want to gain expertise in electronics or hi-tech workers who want extra skills to move up the career ladder. Those taking the Bachelors courses tend to be working in the electronics industry and want the qualification to progress their careers or move to a management position.
