Description:The aim of this module is to enable the student to acquire a thorough knowledge of a selected number of literary works, enabling them to develop a sophisticated critical consciousness and an awareness of the interrelationship between literature and society.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to
  1. Evaluate the role played by literature in modern Spanish society
  2. Read literary texts in Spanish
  3. Critically approach and analyse literary texts and the role played by literature in its social and political context in Spanish society
