Description:This module aims to expand the students’ existing skills and knowledge of the target language. The students will research and present aspects of commercial and cultural relevance in the target language country/countries.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to

  2. Present information on companies and products in the target language country/countries.
  3. Translate a variety of texts from and into the target language.
  4. Describe issues of a contemporary nature in the target language country/countries using a variety of media.

  • General language (30%)
    Further development of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • Business Language (50%)
    Presentation of issues of commercial relevance. Translation of commercial texts from and into the target language.
  • Aspects of Business culture and society (20%)
    Business environment, companies, products.
