Information about job opportunities, transfer opportunities and postgraduate courses is posted on the Careers & Appointments notice-board at the entrance to the mezzanine area (entrance Starbucks). We will help as much possible but it is important you know that it's ultimately your own responsibility to be active in the process of planning your career and utilising the Careers Service to help you make informed decisions.
National Student Challenge 2013/14
Want to challenge yourself? Could you be the smartest student in ITT Dublin? Or maybe even the smartest student in Ireland? Well now is your chance, take the gradireland National Student Challenge today and you could win €1000 and seriously enhance your CV!
The National Student Challenge test takes just 30 minutes to complete, the test will generate a score and rank you on the leaderboard. Not only will you be able to check where you rank among students from across Ireland but you will also be entered into prize draws throughout the duration of the competition.
At the end of the competition the top 60 students on the leaderboard will be selected to take part in the Final Day event, where they will be put to the test with a variety of real challenges in order to identify and recognise Ireland’s brightest and most able undergrad. In the end the student with the highest score will be crowned the gradireland National Student Challenge Winner 2014. Final Day is a great opportunity for students to network with employers and will also look great on your CV!

Careers Advisor- Carmel Morrissey
Carmel comes to the role of career advisor with ITT with a background in career coaching and training, this combined with experience working for one of the largest Recruitment agencies in the world makes her someone who can help students get their career on the right track.
She specializes in CV preparation; Interview coaching and Job search strategies. Carmel has contributed articles for regional newspapers on these topics and is currently the Interview Expert for Recruit Ireland. She has presented at several high profile events on these topics and participated in various Career Clinics. She is passionate about helping people make the correct decisions within their career and she looks forward to working with the Students at ITT over the next couple of months.
