The Association for Franco-Irish Studies (AFIS)

In order to broaden its remit and recruit new members, the NCFIS established the Association for Franco-Irish Studies (AFIS) in 2006. AFIS is responsible for the organisation of the annual conferences and the collection of annual subscriptions. It is asked of those who are thinking of giving papers at the annual conferences that they join AFIS. John McDonagh (photo above) is the Treasurer of the Association.
