Access Office

The role of the Access Office can be broken down into two areas:

1. Pre-entry: to promote and encourage entry into the Insitute by students from groups currently under-represented in higher education (particularly those from DEIS schools in local areas).

2. Post-entry: to provide supports to full-time registered students, from disadvantaged backgrounds, to ensure their progression whilst at the Institute.

The ITT Access Office engages with the following groups:

  • Students from linked schools (see list below)
  • Mature students
  • Ethnic Minorities (including members of the Traveller Community)

Through a range of pre-entry activities, alternative entry arrangements, and post-entry supports, the Access Office strives to ensure that ITT facilitates equity of access and progression.

If you belong to one of these groups and are currently a student at ITT, you can book an appointment with me at accessofficeritt.youcanbook.me
