Bachelor of Science - Pharmaceutical Technology
About the Course
This programme is a follow-on to the Higher Certificate in Science - GMP & Technology. It aims to educate production, technical-grade and supervisory/ managerial staff in fundamental and applied aspects of Good Manufacturing Practice, relevant core science and production management. It also allows some specialisation in finished dosage, or active pharmaceutical ingredient or biotechnology production. The programme will run over three college semesters (18 months) in part-time. Candidates must take all modules on offer in each semester.Named Award: Bachelor of Science - NFQ Level 7

Entry Level
The minimum entry requirement is a Pass Award in the Higher Certificate in Science - GMP & Technology programme or its equivalent. Candidates must be working in a relevant industry. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.Course Content / Timetable

Year 1: €3460 (Inclusive of ITT Dublin registration fee and examination fee). If completing individual modules/groups of modules the individual module fee is €560 plus the ITT Dublin registration fee of €30 and an examination fee of €15 per module examination (up to a maximum of €70 per academic year).
Year 2: €1570 (Inclusive of ITT Dublin registration fee and examination fee). If completing individual modules/groups of modules the individual module fee is €560 plus the ITT Dublin registration fee of €30 and an examination fee of €15 per module examination (up to a maximum of €70 per academic year).
