About the Course
The CPIM is an internationally recognised qualification that has been awarded to 55,000 people worldwide since 1973. The programme covers the latest concepts and techniques in the field of supply chain management. It is aimed at those who work, or plan to work, in the areas of materials management, logistics or supply chain management.

Entry Level
Candidates should have a Leaving Certificate with five subjects including English and Mathematics or an equivalent qualification. Mature students may be exempted from this requirement if their career development to date demonstrates the ability and motivation to succeed on the programme. Applicants may be required to undertake an aptitude test and/or attend an interview.

The CPIM was launched by US trade association APICS in 1973 to provide a common basis for individuals to assess their knowledge in the evolving field of materials management. Since then, APICS certification has become recognised around the world as a standard of professional competence in supply chain management.
