Diploma in Financial Management

About the Course

ITT Dublin is an approved provider of for the ACCA Diploma in Financial Management. We are very proud of the fact that a number of our students have performed exceptionally well .

The ACCA Diploma in Financial Management (Dip FM) aims to achieve a level of practical understanding that is genuinely useful in the workplace. Managers are increasingly responsible for managing their own profit centres and therefore need a similar level of financial understanding to the qualified accountants within the business. The ACCA Diploma in Financial Management develops this with a broad range of topics which enable managers not only to understand financial information, but also link it to broader strategic decisions.

The ACCA Diploma in Financial Management (Dip FM) is delivered by a highly qualified and experienced team of professionals.

The overall aim of this course is for candidates to:

  • understand and interpret the financial statements, the regulatory framework and the principles and methods which underlie their preparation.
  • develop a sound knowledge of the techniques which enable managers to measure and drive business performance.
  • understanding the role of financial strategy in the investing, financing and resource allocation decisions
  • appreciate the theoretical and practical aspects of corporate governance, and the management of both financial and non-financial risk.

Upon successful completion of both of the ACCA Diploma in Financial Management modules, the student will receive a certificate and the entitlement to use the letters DipFM after his/her name.
