This programme creates grounding in core business subject’s i.e.:

This provides the student with a broad understanding of these areas and it provides a basis for progression to ordinary degree level.

Timetable: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays (6-10pm)

Entry Level
If under 23 years applicants must have a grade D3 in a minimum of five subjects in the Leaving Certificate examinations, (this must include Maths and English/Irish) or a FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent.Mature students (over 23 years) may be exempted from this requirement and are eligible to apply. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English. Eligible candidates may be interviewed.

All modules on the Higher Certificate in Business Studies (Accounting) are examined in common and at the same time as the full-time programme.

Career Opportunities
Students who gain the Higher Certificate Award may exit into the world of employment with this foundation qualification. Students may obtain junior positions in accounting/finance departments of a broad range of business sectors. Fees & Funding
Year 1:
€1620 (Inclusive of ITT Dublin registration fee and examination fees). If completing individual modules/groups of modules, the individual module fee is €130 plus the ITT Dublin registration fee: €30 and an examination fee of €15 per module examination to a maximum of €70 per academic year.

Year 2:

Pay full fees before August 31st and get a 5% reduction on your tuition fees.
