ITTFM - On Air - 12pm to 9pm
start date: Mon, 08 Feb 2010 18:25:00 GMT
end date: Fri, 12 Feb 2010 17:25:00 GMT
From Monday the 8th of February to Friday the 12th, students of the Radio Society at the Institute of Technology, Tallaght, will be live on air for their annual Radio Week, coinciding with the Institute’s RAG (Raise A Grand) Week.
Students will research, run and present their own radio shows on 99.5 ITTfm from 12pm to 9pm daily.
For the first year ever, to further interact with listeners, ITTfm will have live video streaming online, with a chat room available, for shows to be watched and contacted through their website www.ittfm.com
Chairman of the Radio Society, Conor Lenehan, a fourth year student in the college, says the week will be “jam packed” and is proud of the students’ radio schedule that boasts “entertainment, live music, current affairs, high profile guests, competitions and many prizes to be won”
ITTfm station manager, Mark Donohue, earlier this week announced the arrival of “The Shnackbox”, a brand new show coming live from the canteen in the institute, from 1pm daily, with lots of games laid out for the week to get students involved in RAG week, raising money and awareness for good causes.
ITTfm can be listened to at 99.5 fm in the Dublin area or worldwide, at www.ittfm.com
