Graduate Profiles

Name: Maria Dillon
Course: Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Management.

mkrt3 “After leaving school I was not sure about my career path. I thought that a degree in management might be a good choice as it
would give me a broad education in business and offer the flexibility to pursue different options after I qualified. I was delighted when I got accepted onto the Management Degree in ITT Dublin.

From the very first day I felt that I was in the right place. I immediately loved the small class atmosphere, the friendly lecturers and the variety of subjects covered in the course. It was very easy to make friends and I looked forward to coming into college each day. I improved my grades each semester. Lecturers were always very supportive and approachable. Lecturers have an ‘open door policy’ which greatly helped when there were any issues that hindered my study.

I have successfully completed the Bachelor of Business in Management Degree and am now working in the area of finance. From my time in ITT, I have gained knowledge of various industries and business issues – through project work, case studies and lectures. I took part in different Enterprise competitions and gained excellent experience working alongside the incubation centre for start-up businesses at ITT Dublin.

I have also improved my team work, communications and decisionmaking skills; these have greatly helped me in my current role. I will always be grateful to the college for the excellent experience, knowledge and friends gained during my time there.”
